Baylands Equestrian Centre

provides a wide range of services to suit a variety of requirements.

Our standard lessons, brief details and prices are shown below.

You do not have to be a member or book a course of lessons with Baylands.

Book one activity or as many as you like.

Please be advised all bookings require payment in advance.

48 hour notice of cancellation or to amend a booking is required for full refund.

All clients must complete a rider registration form (download), agree to 

Covid-19 policies and abide by the rider code of conduct.​

All information provided will only be used by Baylands; to make contact with our clients; to manage 

and plan lessons; to inform of upcoming activities. You may request your details be deleted

We have regular events, holiday activities, open days and promotions.

  • Class Lessons

Duration: 45 mins

 

Fixed times during the week and at weekends. Lessons available for beginners to advanced 

riders. Riding hat provided if required. New clients of higher than beginner standard may be required 

to complete an initial assessment. Approximately 3 or 4 riders per class.

 

Price: £40.00

  • Private Lessons

Duration: ½ hour

 

Available at varying times during the week and at weekends. One-to-one lesson for any ability. Suitable 

as an assessment for hacking or higher level classes. Riding hat provided if required. Semi-private 

lessons also available for two riders, which will incur a £5 overall discount.

 

Price: £50.00

  • Tiny-Tots

Duration: ½ hour

 

Small class suitable for ages 3 – 6 years old. Also suitable for older children if they are 

new or nervous riders. Fixed times during weekends. Riding hat provided if required.

3 riders per class.

 

Price: £30.00

  • Disabled Riders

Duration: ½ hour

 

Lead rein walk in Stockwood Park or in the arena as assessed. Available between 10am and 4pm on Tues/Wed/Fri to maintain discounted rate. Suitable for disabled or disadvantaged children and adults. 

Riding hat provided if required. Some conditions may require medical clearance. Assistants/Supervisors/

Carers are to assist with attending to riders. Mechanical hoist, ramp and block facilities available

 to assist riders with physical disabilities.

 

Price: £35.00 (off peak) / £50.00 (peak)

  • Private Groups

Duration: 45 mins

 

As a class lesson but all to yourself. Suitable for parties, groups wanting to ride together, celebrations etc. Riding hats provided if required - Minimum of 4 riders.

 

Price: £35 (per rider)

Off peak times: weekdays between 10am - 4pm

Peak times: evenings (after 4pm) and weekends

Please be advised all bookings require payment in advance by telephone.

48 hr notice of cancellation or to amend a booking is required for refunds.

Suitable clothing and footwear is required. No trainers.

Standard riding hats can be supplied at no charge.
